We are certified and professionally trained doulas and experienced Childbirth Educators, mothers, and breastfeeding consultants offering a variety of birth and postpartum services to women and their families throughout the DC Metro Area & Baltimore County.

Our intention as birth workers, is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment as you journey to motherhood. The Village Birth Co-op believes that every woman and family who wants a doula deserves to have one and we are committed to assisting women in having the birth experience they desire. We believe that pregnancy and birth are normal and transformative experiences in a woman’s life. It is our hope to create a safe space where the birthing mother feels empowered by her own courage, intuitive nature, strength and resolve.
